  • My wife and I joined my sister and family at Lidia's for her birthday. I had high hopes as Lidia is a well renowned chef. My sister and I both got the pasta special. I wasn't super impressed with the flavor of the pastas. My favorite of the three was the rigatoni, but I did not care for the other two. I also managed to get a taste of my brother's lasagna, which tasted a bit bland. Our server was also pretty hard to track down, and he left our drinks empty for long periods of time, even though there was only two or three other tables in the restaurant. On the positive side, my mother said that her chicken was pretty good, and I enjoyed the meatballs quite a bit. I don't know that I'll be visiting again, as I much prefer DiAnoia's as the quality is much higher.
