  • This is the absolute worst Apple store I've ever been to in my life. I've been a loyal Apple customer since the iPod nano came out, and I always had great customer service experiences with Apple on the phone and at other Apple stores. This store, however, is a disgrace to Apple. Last summer, I broke my MacBook Pro and went here to purchase a new one. Not only was I there for four hours on the day that I decided to purchase it, due to technical difficulties with paying them, but the computer has been defective and extremely slow. I just left my fifth visit for the same problem. And they have not solved my issue at all. Not only that, but every Genius Bar appointment that I've had was at least if not more than 30 minutes late, despite me arriving early or on time. Earlier this week, I even showed up 20 minutes early to my appointment and they told me to leave and come back, and would not allow me to check in. Just two days ago, they asked me to come to the store to perform a back up of my laptop. When I asked if I could simply start the back up and come back when it was finished in a few hours, they told me that I would have to stay at the Apple Store the entire time that my computer was backing up. When I told them that I have a life and therefore can't stay at the Apple store all day, they told me that my only other option was to pay a $99 transfer fee. After speaking with the manager, they finally decided to do my back up for free. On a different note, I went here to purchase a new iPhone and they attempted to charge me a $300 fee because they couldn't figure out how to transfer contract end dates with Verizon. So I had to take my business elsewhere and purchase the iPhone at a Verizon store. If I could give this Apple Store zero or negative stars, I would fucking love to. Don't go to this Apple Store, it is a waste of your time. Usually when you spend a small fortune on a piece of equipment, the company will go out of their way to ensure that your money wasn't wasted and that you will return as a customer in the future. I am now getting the impression that Apple is just like every other cheap tech company and wants you to spend money on their products, even when they break frequently. I'm so disappointed.
