I was exploring the night street of little italy with my friend. We had passed several gelato shops on our way, but we decided to stay at this one. It turned out, our decision was right. You can tell how good it is by the flow of its customers. This place was still busy at 10pm on a quiet and chill wednesday night.
Beside of the various flavours of gelati, they also served pastries and homemade tiramisu in a giant martini glass. Another impressive thing was that they had gelato bars and gelato cake ready for order.
I tried the pistachio and the Dolce de leche (caramel). The pistachio flavour was rich and pure, with a hint of salt at the end. This savoury taste washed away any overwhelming sweetness after each bite, leaving your mouth ready for another bite of sweet and wonderful experience. The Dolce de leche was the best caramel flavoured gelato I ever had. It was rich, creamy, flavourful, yet not too sweet. Surprisingly, the two flavours went together very well.
I will definitely visit this place again.
