| - Well another nice dinner at Canaletto! Truly a great atmosphere when out on the "patio". I've never actually sat inside for dinner as the primary joy of this restaurant is the faugh outdoor seating.
Dress can be from nearly black tie to causal, just don't show up in swim shorts and flip flops!
There is usually live music, flute and violin, on weekend nights which is very nice. People meandering through St. Mark's Square really bring s the full Italian street restaurant ambiance. Without the pigeons!
A couple of drinks for two, two entrées', desert and digestifs, with tip about $150. Not your everyday affair but not bad for a nice night out.
Food is generally above average, but some expect more because he restaurant presents a much more refined atmosphere. If you get something you don't like or didn't order, be polite and send it back or ask for the manager. This is Vegas. If done right, you'll get treated right.
Servers always seem to be FOB from Europe if not Italy directly. Very polite, but in fashion that seems brusk to many who haven't been to Europe. Also, they leave you alone to let you enjoy your meal and your time there. You may have to ask for something as servers aren;t at your table every five minutes trying to usher you out.
