This hotel was surprisingly awesome. For a normally moderate chain, this Holliday Inn Express was pretty high end. It's located in the old National City Bank building. You walk in to super high and intricately decorated ceilings. There isn't a real lobby but the entry is staffed.
They serve high tea and popcorn (on occasion) in the lobby and a very elaborate breakfast (free) in the mornings. On the breakfast floor (1 floor down from the entry) there is also a pool table, video game room, and small fitness room. There are a couple of computers available to guests.
We stayed on the 13th floor and had a terrific view overlooking the city (facing the basketball stadium). The ceilings were high, the room was decorated well in a modern style, and there was a lot of space. I loved the old wood floors and the comfy mattress.
This is my new go-to hotel in Cleveland.
