  • We finally got around to trying Soul Gastrolounge for living in the area almost a year already. The wait times always deterred us. On Saturday we got there at 530p (opens at 5p) with no wait and were seated on the patio. Matt was our server and he was fantastic with recommending options and explaining the menu. We tried some things off the sushi menu which were fantastic: 'Joe Cool' sushi special roll, blue fin tuna, hamachi jalapeño. We also tried a trio of dips: spicy feta, white bean and the tzatziki dip...all were fantastic. We also had the recommended pork belly tacos which were BEYOND CRAZY AMAZING! For dessert we had the featured cupcake and the filo dough wrapped banana and Nutella bites. Everything was fantastic and with the wait times, you just have to deal with it because the food is awesome.
