  • I was here for a beef pita last week for lunch. Good but not great, definitely not worth the hype. The beef was not grilled to order, it was sitting in a steam table. The pita was likewise steamed rather than toasted on the flat top at the end. The sandwich was so overfilled that I had to eat it essentially open-faced. On the other hand, the white sauce (mayo and spices) was good and the hot sauce packed a punch. There are many better places for a pita downtown, but Halal guys was fine.
