  • Coming from San Diego, this is a pretty small zoo with not that much little diversity. They barely have a pair of each of the "main" animals you think of (e.g. lions, tigers, elephants, etc). The place is overall well-kept and clean but I agree with some of the reviewers that some the enclosures are very small and the animals seem understimulated. Overall, we walked through 80% of the zoo in about 2 hrs and didn't find the terrain too challenging. They have a shuttle that's convenient for the less mobile too. I think this is a fine place for families but any true zoo enthusiast will likely be disappointed.
