  • It is perverse that I like this place so much. It is in my top 5 "fast food" type eateries and I am lucky enough that I get to Scottsdale several times/year on business so I never have to go long enough without that I get the shakes. I'm amazed that they are open 24 hrs a day but I love it because I am usually jet-lagged when here and am looking for breakfast very early. This place never fails to be totally dead at 4 or 5 in the morning but the lit "Los Betos" sign in the driveway is always on and pulls me in like a moth. Some of my favorites are the carnitas burrito (the carnitas always has some crispy edges to it full of flavor) that comes loaded with a healthy dollop of excellent guacamole, the carne asada tacos (2 are a meal), and their breakfast chorizo and egg burrito. One of the other things that I love here are their version of chiles toreados which are large chiles (sometimes jalapeño, sometimes serrano) grilled and deep fried, salted and served with lemons. They are hot, salty and full of flavor and they will burn so good today and again tomorrow! The final thing for me that makes this place great is that everything is made hot, huge, fresh and a la minute.
