| - On my first visit, I went for eyelash extensions. They looked great at first, but began falling out rapidly, and were completely gone after 10 days. I used the same care routine as I always give eyelash extensions, which I usually make last for 3 weeks. As well, the extension artist made a few unwarranted comments about my skin and about how I "could really use a facial" and some of the other services they offer, to clean out my pores and fix my "obvious dryness".
Despite this, I gave the salon another chance and I went for a hair cut. I told her "a minimal v trim with no layers", and even brought a picture. As she was starting, she made comments to me about how bad my ends were and then to her coworkers, while speaking a different language (maybe mandarin or cantonese) while she was holding up my split ends and gesturing to my hair. This continued for a couple minutes until I interrupted them to ask if they "were all hairstylists and had an opinion on my ends". They didn't, the nail techs politely excused themselves and she started again. Even after that awkwardness she either didn't understand or disregarded my initial wishes, because I now have three layers and a lot less length! I won't be going there again.
