| - Hold up... so you're telling me, that a bigger girl like myself can walk into a store, pick up dresses in a "size 0", have them be super fashionable, AND have them FIT??? I have heard people talking about Torrid before, but I finally walked in and picked up some clothes this time around. The salesgirl who was there -Rachel - was SO friendly and helpful, that it made me WANT to look around more and find more things.
Their sizes run differently than normal stores (obviously... I did just say I was a size ZERO). She told me with their sizes: 0 = 12 ... 1 = 14-16 .... 2 = 18-20 .... 3 = 22-24 .... 4 = 26-28 .... SO yes, if you're a little skinny minnie, I wouldn't go to Torrid as your first stop in the mall, but for those of us who are a big bigger and are annoyed walking into a store and only finding maybe 2 dresses that fit decently, maybe head over to this store!
Prices are on the higher end (40-60 just for a shirt?), but I caught them on a sale and got 2 clearance dresses for buy 1 get 1. I did end up buying a cute shirt for 40something, but I think it all balanced out in the end so I justified that it was ok...
And again, the salesgirl that was there yesterday, Rachel, was SO friendly and helpful that it definitely made the shopping experience easier and better... (HATE when I walk into a store and am greeted by an antisocial, rude person - so this was a refreshing change in pace!)
