| - The whole process to get a mere 22 feet of fence installed was a nightmare. The finished product is perfectly functional and fine but I could not recommend this place in good conscious given the run around we received every step of the way about when this would be completed. It took three phone calls just to get the sales guy/estimator to our property. We were given an estimate for cost, which seemed obscenely high for the quality of fencing materials we were ordering and how small a section of fencing we were asking for, but it was on par with other companies we had priced out and we just wanted to get it done. We were also given an estimate of 2-3 weeks for it to be installed and were told "maybe sooner but for sure by May 23rd." This was on May 2nd. We were also told that once our deposit was processed and the materials ordered, about a week after the estimate appointment, we would get a call from the office to schedule our appointment.
Fast forward two weeks I called and left a message asking when we might know a date for install. The next day I heard back that the lady in the office had been out for a while and was processing our information and we would hear back in another week or so.
Which, of course, we didn't. On May 20th I called AGAIN and left another message (because no one ever seems to actually answer the phone here) and when the lady called me back she told me that she's not sure why I was told that the fence would be installed by the 23rd and they were running a week to two behind. I expressed my frustration at the back and forth and insisted that I wasn't going to wait ANOTHER two weeks at this point for my fence to be enclosed. She told me she would call me back on Monday and that she hoped she'd be able to get someone out to put the fence in by the next Wednesday. (May 25th.)
Monday we get told, soon. Wednesday we get told it'll be Thursday the 26th between 8-10 a.m. so I took the morning off from work to be at the house when the installers arrived. When they arrived they informed me that the only thing they were doing that day was setting the gate posts in concrete and they'd be back the following Tuesday (after the 3 day Memorial Day weekend) to finish the gate. I asked them if there was any way they could come back on Friday before the long weekend to finish it because at no point did ANYONE mention that this would be a two day install. I understand why it needed to be that way so that the concrete could cure before weight was hung on it, but it still should have been explained to me.
The installers said they would try to return Friday.
They didn't. When we called and left another few messages on Friday afternoon to follow up we were told "oh someone should have told you, they're coming on Saturday morning between 8-10 a.m."
Saturday 10 a.m. comes and goes and we FINALLY hear from the install manager at around noon letting us know that "someone should have called you, we had a job in Parhump and my guys are late. They'll be there between 2-4 p.m."
Now, finally, we had the fence installed by about 5 p.m. that Saturday evening. When the installers left they told us someone would call on Tuesday to get payment information for the second half of the payment.
On Tuesday no one called, but instead they charged the credit card that we had given them for our deposit a full month before.
I am so frustrated with how this project turned out and the fact that we paid more than $1200 for a company to jerk us around, flat out lie about when and how our project would be completed and ultimately ended up just charging my card without authorization or discussion when they were done.
How this company stays in business with this kind of disorganization in their office is beyond me. They don't answer their business phone during their posted business hours, they lie to their customers about when and how a project they're paying for will even get completed and then ultimately they just do whatever they want, when they want regardless and will charge you full price without ever even checking to see that you're happy with the results.
For the record this is also the company that Las Vegas area Home Depot's contract to do their fencing installs ordered through Home Depot. I'd caution consumers to contract literally ANY one else to put their fences up.
