  • This place was made famous by its appearance in the movie American Splendor. Appropriately, this place looks like it hasn't changed much over time. It's a simple bakery storefront, not really a place where you can sit down. It basically sells sweets and cookies and things, not bread and that sort of thing. Is this place good? It's pretty good. This place is worth checking out if only because it is very different from the typical sort of bakeries that you see nowadays.
