| - We were hungry, saw the pretty colours of Patati Patata's storefront, then walked in for dinner.
This is a very small restaurant, that can only fit a handful of people. Don't bother bringing a group unless if you guys are doing takeout. That being said, bring one friend along, have a seat, and enjoy watching your food be prepared right in front of you.
This time around, I flipped the script and ordered a fish burger and a tofu burger. Both are served with a large slice of tomato, green leaf lettuce, and red onion, on a basic white bun. The fish burger was all well and good, but what stuck in my mind was hands down the tofu burger. We all know that tofu is generally just about tasteless, but they marinate these patties in what must be unicorn tears, because they come out so well flavoured that I wouldn't be mad at cutting meat from my diet for an extended period.
I also got a side of poutine, which was simple, with classic gravy, cheese curds, and a single black olive, (just for fun).
I'm really glad that we stopped by this tiny little fry shop, and I suggest you do too.
