| - This is a great hotel away from the strip. Staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby bar and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. We didn't eat at the other hotel restaurants. We got it at $79/night on Expedia and it was totally worth it if you're renting a car. It's inconvenient if you plan on spending all your time at the strip, but good driving distances from Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon and our one trip to the strip (where we parked at the mirage for $12 for the day).
Self parking was free, the in-hotel Starbucks is open 6am-10pm, the pool is fun & has plenty of shady and sunny lounge chairs, and a pool bar with delicious cocktails that are about $12 each and yummy food.
We did not use the spa, which seemed pricey to us, but at least the price list was online so we knew it ahead of time.
A note about the "village":
It's part of an odd little resort community that is built to feel like people live, work and play here, but I think it completely exists for the tourists of the Hilton and Westin. The village is mostly a ghost town with abandoned store fronts. The gelato place was yummy! Hotel staff will recommend the little village restaurants, but they are expensive (with nearly nothing under $20, and most entrees closer to $30-$50), so if you have a car to drive elsewhere to eat, do that instead.
