The food isn't quite amazing, but it's really really good, hits the spot when you are craving Indian, and really affordable. I even find their food better than most of the 'fancier' (and much more expensive) Indian restaurants around.
A small hole in the wall kind of place in a strip mall in Scarborough, you would never know this place existed if someone didn't tell you. Their main service is selling Indian sweets, but they have a small kitchen in the back which produces some wicked take-out in about 15 minutes from when you place your order. They have a few small tables to eat-in but it is very cafeteria style.
Butter chicken is pretty good (I find the sauce a tad sweet), chicken saag is delicious, the channa bhatura is so good (I wish I could use Bhatura in place of bread for everything in life), the papri chaat is pretty good and the samosas are decent and just 3 for $1 (and go so well with the channa).
The bill for the two of us is always about $20-$30 but I think we get enough food for 5 people as we are always stuffed and always have lots and lots leftover.
