| - I was re-introduced to Trader Joe's recently. I used to do most of my organic shopping at Whole Foods. There's a big difference between the two chains, but I'm definitely appreciating Trader Joe's for what they provide...and I think at a cheaper price at that.
I love what everyone else loves also, their selection of nuts, dried fruits, and trail mixes. You want a variety or just plain almonds? They have it, even organic ones. I always buy my organic milk and eggs, plus I fell in love with these healthy blueberry bran muffins, too. Not to mention their ready-to-eat salads.
I'd have to say what Whole Foods has is a bigger selection of organic produce. They also carry many more vitamins, supplements, beauty products, and herbal remedies. Almost forgot their vast choices of cheeses. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably shop at Trader Joe's all the time.
Last time I was in there, the clerk informed me that if you reuse your recyclable Trader Joe's grocery bags, you can enter your name to win Trader Joe's gift cards. Brownie points for that :)
