| - Zumanity is an attempt by Cirque du Soleil to push the envelope and go a bit "risque."
Yes, they try to set the mood by offering sofas and loveseats for two, and the whole show has a strong S&M flavor to it, but there's still plenty of acrobatics and stunts to satisfy hardcore Cirque fans. In fact, I found the flying harness act, which is present in some variation or another in most Cirque shows, the most "risque" of all, with asphyxiation being simulated in an all-too-close and personal way... literally, hanging right above your head.
Overall, Zumanity is one of my favorite Cirque shows on the strip, and I found it thoroughly fun, creative, and provocative, done mostly in a tasteful manner. Then again, maybe I'm just a heathen urbanite doomed to hell anyway.
