Well I don't know what happened to my previous 5 star review about this dental office but I guess it doesn't matter since I'm now updating for bad customer service. I really like this dentist Dr. Toop and had previously been ready to start looking for a new dentist right before she started because the dentist before her chipped my tooth during a cleaning, then denied that my tooth was chipped even though I immediately went right back to the office and had the piece of chipped enamel in my hand to show him! So he refused to fix my tooth and I thought, whatever there are a million dentists out there, way to go on losing a client.... But then Dr. Toop came along and seemed to really care about her patients and performing exceptional service so I stayed and have been happy until recently. They have messed up my appointment times on a few occasions are habitually over an hour wait for appointments .
Last week I had a cleaning, from a new dentist at their office, and after leaving I felt, what I thought was a tiny piece of plaque or something stuck on the inside of my front tooth. I didn't think anything of it and kept trying to push it off with my tongue. A few days later it's still on there so I finally look in the mirror to see why it's not coming off. I then see that my front tooth has a tiny chip at the bottom and that is what I kept feeling with my tongue. So I call the office to tell them and the receptionist puts me on hold, then comes back and rudely tells me that the dentist couldn't have chipped my tooth from a cleaning and that the cleaning was last week (as if that is relevant).
I tell her yes the dentist DID chip my tooth during the cleaning as I had felt it immediately after leaving the office, obviously I don't think he intentionally did it, and another dentist (actually I think she was a dental hygienist) from their office had previously chipped one of my teeth.
Dr. Toop had previously fixed this tooth for me and told me that I could come back if it chipped again, and if not my insurance will pay for it. But I don't appreciate the receptionist arguing with me about whether or not it was possible for my tooth to be chipped during a cleaning when it clearly IS POSSIBLE and has happened at their office 2 times now.
