After a incident where someone decided to side swipe my car, I took my car there for an evaluation/quote. Of course, my insurance was willing to pay for this but since I had good service before, I hope to get it again. This time, I was approached with more of a grimace than with pleasure (granted I did just walk in on a Saturday) but I was distraught from the event. So the I has a few dents on the side of my car and the front and rear bumpers were cracked. The bumpers were pretty straight forward... they just need to be replaced. But the dents on side, he recommended to cut off a part of the rear panel (thus breaking the integrity of the entire panel) and have that replaced and re-painted. I inquired if they would just be able to pop the dents and repaint (the dents were not THAT deep) of which he told me no. I took my car to another auto body shop (the one my insurance recommended) and they did a great job. They told me they just popped the dents and painted it. Obviously choosing an auto body shop is like choosing your doctor, but make sure that to get a second opinion if you dont think it is right.
