This is a very nice and welcoming library. All my interactions with staff were positive. The security guard was very helpful and eager to assist me with getting my parking situation resolved. The library does not have very many h/c accessible spaces with enough clearance for entering/exiting van with a ramp. Inevitably, I got blocked by the car parked next to me. Security Guard to the rescue. He backed my van up in order to clear the way for my ramp. Problem solved in no time at all.
My second visit at Summerlin Library was at the library's Performing Arts Center for a free Nevada Chamber Orchestra concert. I was impressed with both the musicians and the auditorium acoustics.
My next visit to Summerlin Library will be in 2 weeks for a free to the public, 'Stop the bleed' emergency first aid class. Looking forward to this.
As you may have gathered from other reviews, this library is a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility for all ages, offering not just books (and there are many) but a diversity of media, an art gallery, free classes and free concerts for patrons.
In closing, Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center has it all.
