I have to say that I'm not a huge dessert person. I came here because I've heard so much about it and had to check it out. first, the place is not very big. it had two tables and majority of seats are at the bar which is nice because they make all the desserts right in front of you. I had the fixed menu which is three courses (one of which you pick). I chose the hazelnut dish which looks like soba noodles. I have to admit that it looks pretty awesome. I thought it was ice cream but it's not which was a bit disappointing. it's really cool to see how they make it and I think that's part of what makes this place special... It feels quite intimate but it's really not. the dishes aren't spectacular or memorable. would I recommend it? I would if they were really into desserts. would I go back in my own? probably not. the staff is friendly and the place is super clean. the bathroom is an experience in itself, but if you've been to raku you'd know what I'm talking about.
