Like I posted before, this company gives ultimate importance to making customers pay rather than giving cusotmer satisfaction. They make sure they are paid well before delivering the goods. Once you make even the downpayment, you are tied down to a one sided deal. I accompanied a close friend to book a Carnival Cruise that Taipan offered for Spring Break 2012. They "required" and not "suggested" tips for the tour. What is worse is that they "require" tips for the tour guide and the driver even during the cruise aboard the ship ! Makes sense? For those who have not joined any cruise, you are practically on your own onboard the ship and there are lots of ship staff to help you whatever and most things are free ! Why would you need tour bus driver and travel agency guide on the cruise itself? Well I guess one can gauge the intentions of these people. That is about it about this company. The one and only one star I give is for the good price of the tour. But if you add up these "tip requirements" it comes out to the same as other tours. I would rather join another company tour and be happy.
