  • The best shaved ice in all of Vegas!! This is no ordinary shaved ice. It is melt in your mouth, day-changing goodness. Expect a 20 minute wait in the summer, so make friends with the other sweaty people in line. The best times to go are between 12-2:30 (when the teens are all still in school) and right around dinner time, when parents are feeding their kids dinner. That's when you will find the shortest lines! Also, I just adore the owner. Back in the day (2 years ago) a friend would go a lot around lunch time and he was always working. He's a really friendly guy, who had an entrepreneurial dream and has made a GREAT Las Vegas staple. Purple Penguin is the only way to survive the Vegas summer!
