  • My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for our 6 year anniversary on Friday 9-11-15, he had made a reservation with a special request for desert as a surprise to me! I have been wanting to come to this place for some time as I'm a huge fan of Buddy!! We show up and get seated very quickly it was about 8:45-9:00pm we are sitting for five minutes when a biased comes to the table and asks us if we would like some water...sure he brings us water...we've never been here before so we are taking our time with the menu and decide to order mozzarella as an appetizer when our server finally arrived at our table we had already drank our glass of water it was a good 15 minutes after we sat down...unacceptable if you ask me! I don't know his name cause he talked so fast and was trying really hard with what seemed like a fake accent to be "cool" and laughed at himself....we told him we've never been here and that we would like to order the mozzarella...he then said are you ready to put on your Order for dinner...I said could I have a few minutes he then proceeded to say that I wanted the Veil Parmesan without giving me time to look uhh ok I guess I'll have that since you are in such a rush for me to order when you haven't even put in my appetizer...my boyfriend ordered lasagna... I never saw my server again...well not willingly anyways...I had to flag him down for more water...the buss men were passing out cheese bread and vinegar and oil to every table that was there...except us not once were we offered anything nor where my drinks refilled without having to ask!! I wanted to order a soda and nope didn't even get to do that!!! Our appetizer came was different and so yummy!!! Server never came to see how we where....our food came no server nothing...what if I didn't like my food...oh but I had to flag a biased down again for more water even though they have walked by my table 100 times and I know they seen my water empty!!! So on with it...I had to yell for my server who had been ignoring us after I've asked for him 3 times by a bus man he came I said may I please have a box...10 min later my box arrived...he asked if we wanted desert I said may I see a menu!!(been wanting Buddy's lobster take for years almost went to New Jersey just to try one!!) then my boyfriend asks for a manager cause the special request he set up was to have a lobster tail desert show up to the table as a surprise with writing on the plate saying happy anniversary....my boyfriend was so upset that they ruined the surprised when he talked to the manager he kind of still felt like it was no big deal!! A new server delivered our desert and the comped it(didn't asked them to nor did we want them to) At the end of everything the SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! I have been in customer service my whole life never would I treat someone the way we were treated!! We felt abandoned when the people around us where being well taken care of!!! I give a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO THE KITCHEN THOUGH!! FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! I don't eat leftovers never have my whole life but I did eat the left overs for dinner Saturday!! That says something!! Just disappointing about the service kind of heartbroken cause j was so excited to finally be going to BUDDY V's
