  • This was like the Scottsdale's Grand Lux Cafe, except just more expensive and slightly more pretentious. We came here for breakfast and I had the the Eggs (over medium), ham and hash browns.. pretty standard, but if I could eat like this more often, I would. Waitress took a long time to get our order out to us and seemed like she was annoyed when I asked her if there was a Starbucks close by (wanted to decide if I wanted to get a coffee at the restaurant or not). Kristopher had the red velvet pancakes and side of ham. We should have went with the breakfast buffet since Kris's pancakes were so sweet, he said they tasted like cake. I figured it would be like that since velvet anything tends to be super sweet, but now it's confirmed. What is up with $5 for a wine glass of orange juice? (No refills). I think this could be bumped up to 3.5 if it wasn't that outrageously overpriced, if we got our food sooner, or if she would smile just once.
