| - Giving one star for the customer service, and the steakhouse. The steakhouse was some of the most amazing food my party had ever ate!!!!!! The customer service in this hotel was fabulous too. Everyone was extremely professional and kind. However, our experience with the hotel in general was awful. We checked in early and paid extra for an early check in along with a view of the strip. We got to our room and it was dirty. None of the tables were wiped down, it clearly wasn't vaccumed, water spots in the bathroom, but most importantly the wall next to my bed was covered in either blood, or puke, or a mix of both. I didn't even want to sleep in that bed it made me so sick. Our bags were told they'd take 15 minutes in which we waited almost 2 hours for. When we got our bags we had bought a $20 cooler before check in, that was completely broken. Our case of beer was opened and all the cans had dents, so obviously everything must have fallen over. They brought us a bucket to compensate that was actually pretty filthy. The hotel manager was very kind, and they did a few things for us which we appreciated very much. The staff was honestly great. However, last trip we took to Vegas we stayed at Excalibur for $40 a night, and it was 5 stars in my eyes. Everything was clean, and we had no issues with anything. This was a special trip for us in which we wanted to stay at a "fancy" and more expensive hotel. If we could do it over again, we would have chosen something else. This may not always be the case, because we've heard great things about the Palazzo, but in my opinion, save your money, it was NOT worth it. To pay that kind of money, you expect perfection. Of course everyone makes mistakes, but there is no excuse to a blood covered wall when you walk into your room. Stay at a less popular hotel! Use the extra money to enjoy the strip!!!!!!!!!
