  • I hired Chimney Cricket to do a job, but Chim Chim Cheroo is the contractor who just showed up on my property with no communication from anyone about the switch. If I wanted Chim Chim Cheroo to do the job I would have hired them, and I had already made a conscious decision not to call Chim Chim Cheroo for a quote, instead calling Chimney Cricket - or so I thought. Further, the guy who showed up wouldn't even honor the quote I got over the phone from Chimney Cricket (which he gave after getting the square footage of my house and a thorough description of the job). In fact, he wanted to charge me DOUBLE! Huge waste of my time and I don't appreciate being treated like an idiot.
