The office staff and technicians have been fabulous on multiple visits over the years. The BILLING is the worst there is because SimonMed has abdicated responsibility for patients' billing to a heartless third-party, Physicians Billing. This billing company cares nothing for patients and is in it only for the money. They seem to believe that lying is OK if it brings in more revenue. In my case they lied about multiple communications with my insurance company who told them to cut the price for the service by two-thirds. I was to pay the new amount as part of my deductible. Instead they continued to bill the original amount and told me I had to prove that my insurance company had talked to them. To their very great surprise, I did that. So, they entered the new lower amount and had their computer call me the next day demanding payment since the account was overdue and my insurance company had NEVER talked to them (I had emails from my insurance company and them that contradicted this.) I called them immediately and was shortly hung up on. I called a second time and the computer recognized my phone number and sent me to a higher level fixer. After implying that I either couldn't afford or didn't want to pay my 24 hours old bill, that had taken over 2 months to resolve, the representative offered me 5 percent off if I wanted to pay it today. I accepted her challenge and was sent to robo pay land where I was charged a higher amount. I hung up. I called a third time and the robot pay lady offered me the 5% off amount. I paid. Had I not been on them multiple times about their bill amount, I'd be out hundreds of dollars.
