Before I dive in here, I'm going to say that I think this place will grow on me. It's always exciting to see somewhere this large open up in my hood, where small and dark seems to be the only option for a late night drink. I can see how this place is ideal for watching sports, lots of TVs. I also really enjoy the old athletic paraphernalia lining the walls.
But let's get into what wasn't so hot...
I came in around 12:00 on a Friday night with some friends. This is a pretty standard thing to do at a bar. They were nearly empty and really weren't pleased to see us. They didn't come to our table even though there were multiple bartenders, so we went to the bar to grab drinks. They just seemed to hate that we were there, and no one likes to feel like a burden. It was especially bad because we weren't even rowdy, just a group of folks trying to give a new place business. You're at Oz and Dundas, you're going to be open until 2am, might as well be nice.
Prices are decent, and I'll give it another try.
