| - UPDATE: 9/17/12 I have updated my review from 1/5 to 3/5 because after complaining on their website, the NEXT MORNING the GM emailed me right away with a sincere apology and desire to make the situation right. I really appreciated that. I will give them another chance, and hopefully I can submit a 5/5 review next time.
Original review from 9/16/12: 1/5 stars:
The location on Durango is FAR superior. I read the Yelp reviews for this location and I couldn't believe that two locations of the same company could have such wildly different experiences, and thought I would give them a try. But It's true, this place has a LOT to be desired. Yelpers don't lie!!
Good job on the outside wash but so-so on the "interior detail" itself since they left a lot of dog hair and other debris in the cargo compartment. It took way too long and I just wanted to leave so I didn't argue about the less than satisfactory service.
The facility is a disorganized mess for customers. You pull in from Ft. Apache and you have to make 3 left turns to find the entry line. No prices posted outside. Not until you pull up in line and meet with a "greeter" with a large laminated flyer do you find out just how COMPLICATED it is to get a car wash. Way too many packages, options etc, assaulting you. I chose an "interior detail" special on sale. Then you are told to walk ALL the way around to the front of the building to the cashier to pay.
Worst part of the experience is that you need to be an "insider" to "get how it works" here. Was not told ONCE that there are "two" waiting areas, one for detail customers, and one for "regular wash." I proceeded of course to the FRONT where I saw a large group of people waiting for their cars. And I waited, And waited about an hour and 15 minutes never seeing my car. I went inside and inquired to the cashier where my car was, and at THAT point they decided to inform me about the "double secret probation" waiting area IN THE BACK for "detail" customers. Ahh, silly me.
So the cashier escorts me back there, where my car is done and parked in the back. I inquired how long the car had been finished, and was told "about a half hour." Then I asked why no one came to get me and was informed again about the special waiting area and that they "tried to find me." So let me get this straight, if they "tried to find me" and when they couldn't, I guess they assumed that I maybe I just abandoned the car and walked home for the day? How about a little FOLLOW UP! And no apologies for wasting an extra half hour of my life, just arguing that they tried to find me. Terrible.
