Found it through Yelp - really worth the trip!
Taro milk tea (4.5/5): made of real taro (got smashed taro in it!), thus it looks lighter in color.
Jasmine milk tea (4.5/5): Asked for no syrup to fully taste the tea. The first sip really impressed me! The jasmine tea smells so good.
Honey boba (4/5): chewy and moderately sweet, but a little bit too hard for me.
Staff was very friendly and introduced their best sellers to me. The store was clean and cozy, nice for hangout but kind of small for large group of people.
Love the milk tea here because they are fresh and natural (well, at least for what I've ordered). Taro milk tea here tastes very different from others made of powder and artificial purple color (yes, real natural taro milk tea would never look so purple. It would actually look white-ish if no additional colors added).
Some may feel the jasmine milk tea is "watered-down", because it is made of only milk and tea. I experiment with milk tea a lot at home, and unfortunately the light taste is inevitable, especially when using green tea as base. One workaround is to use evaporated milk instead.
Anyway, it's the trade off between "milky" taste and healthier ingredients. I really would like to see more of such tea houses that emphasis on natural ingredients and use less of artificial addictives. Therefore, 5 stars for Mr. Tea!
