  • Chocolats Favoris had the grand opening over the weekend (March 3). I kept seeing pictures on Instagram so decided to come check it out after work. Upon stepping into the shop, there are colourful displays of various chocolates available. Customers can purchase chocolate bars, chocolates molded into shape, since Easter is coming up, there are a lot of bunnies, chicks and eggs. There is also a glass case containing single serve chocolates that has interesting flavours and are very colourful. I came for for the dipped ice cream cones. You can chose a cone that is dipped only (classic) or choose a cone that is decked out (kooky). The kooky is reminiscent of Sweet Jesus Cones. I decided to go with a mini vanilla dipped in cookies and cream. If you are undecided with which dipping to choose, you can have samples to help you decide :) My cone was delicious but struggling halfway through because the dip is pretty sweet. One thing I really liked is that the vanilla ice cream only slight sweet which definitely balanced out the sweetness of the dip. Overall, I really like the vanilla ice cream as it's not sweet and how there are so many dipping flavours to choose from. The servers here are also super friendly and helpful. This place is definitely worth a try!
