  • Ahwatukee might be the only place in the world that's "too good / too boujee" for a simple drive up Dutch Bros. Nope, this franchisee had to go balls to the wall/community and have the double lane drive through, a patio seating area, and an indoor seating. I kind of feel bad for residents with the traffic this is going to create in the area and thankful we moved six years ago. Andrew C./The Dude/Hubs and I stopped by on our way home from Tucson this morning and were rather impressed with the setup. When we lived over here, some kind of auto shop was in Dutch Bros new home. Upon seeing the trademark insane drive thru lanes, we opted to walk INTO the building. Yeup, that's an option here. To shake off our 10+mile hike and 5 brewery tasting hangover, we ordered two 12oz freezes (hold the whip): 9-11 and Kicker. Standard Dutch Bros quality and cocaine - Erm, caffeine hits - We should be good to handle typical Sunday chores and other tomfoolery. The customer service is what you've come to expect from Dutch Bros: Friendly and with a smile. Although I will say, Ahwatukee must have nixed the "Your UA must come back dirty if you want to be employed here" requirement as the kids working seemed rather tame - Minus the gal dancing to Juju on that Beat. Solid four stars. Now that Ahwatukee has its own Dutch Bros, stay the !$&@ out of Tempe! You guys were seriously causing parking lot clusterphuks with your frequent visits to our neighborhood.
