| - This was truly an amazing event, and exceeded my expectation by a LOT! I went in expecting small-sized/light bites, but little did I know I was going to be presented with a four course meal! Yes, it was shared, but the portions were big! I left the event stuffed and happy. The quality of the food you ask? I don't think I am over-exaggerating when I am saying this, but this is probably the best brunch food I have ever tasted. Period. Now a little more into the items that were served...
The first course was the million dollar bacon, served with avocado toast and paired with the morning meditation juice. The bacon was a little too sweet for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. I have never tasted toast with avocado on top, and it was delicious. The juice was refreshing made with really fresh ingredients, and I could definitely see myself having multiple refills of this on a Sunday morning. :-)
The second course started off with kale tonic, and was followed by the most amazing breakfast hash I have ever tasted. It was called the "Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash", and I would recommend this as quite possibly the tastiest item on their menu that night.
The third course was a ham and gruyere melt sandwich, paired with Hibiscus limeade. I must say, the colors of the drinks and their presentation was top notch, almost to the extent that you would want to taste the items based on how they look. And you would not be disappointed.
The final course was pancakes. My favorite part of breakfast. However, this was the only item that I wasn't completely satisfied with. This is again due to a personal preference that I don't like "creamy lemon curd" on my pancakes. The pancakes themselves were soft and tasted great with warm maple syrup, but the smell and taste of the lemon curd was overbearing and too strong for my liking.
The event ended with a gift bag handout containing some really neat and cool items, including a very nice coffee mug and a $20 gift card to ANY first watch location! Hands down, this was an amazing elite event (have I mentioned this already?)
Thanks again Hailey for organizing this event, you rock!
