  • I was tipped off to a friend who told me that they served the best pizza in Vegas. Since this particular friend hails from New Jersey, I assumed he would know what he talked about. It was a little bit of a thicker crust and sweeter sauce than what I consider to be ... let's call it canonical. A good pizza, maybe even a great pizza, but just a little off from my stylistic presence. But where Montesano's really shines is with sandwiches. Like all great ones, theirs starts with a foundation of quality bread - a crusty Italian roll inside which fresh and flavorful meats and cheeses are piled. A great Italian sub is a neighborhood treasure, and this is a great Italian sub.
