  • My husband surprised me with a Staycation for our anniversary Starting with valet and check-in everyone was so nice and upgraded us when my husband mentioned our anniversary..The room was nice with a coffee maker and mini fridge. The view of Mystic Falls was nice. The bell desk was prompt bringing our luggage as was housekeeping when we asked for an extra pillow. My husband tried to tip housekeeping but the gentleman slipped it back under the door.. the only reason I didn't give 4 or 5 stars was the bed..We had a king and the mattress was so worn you could feel where the two box springs met. It sagged on both sides with a hard center.. Also, when we went to pick our car up from Valet, it was parked in the sun and the valet didn't help us load our luggage..
