I usually go to Natural Nail Spa across the street. Been going there for years and I HIGHLY recommend. Thought I would try this place for a change. And, they were offering 10% off due to the name change to Alina Nails. Was greeted with 'What you want?'. I asked to see the price list and had to find it on their desk. I almost walked out due to the wait and being brushed off. I wanted something very specific and I showed the woman, who was on her cell the entire time she was doing someone's pedi, and asked how much it would be. She quoted me a price. I asked again prior to services being done and she told me the same price. Pedi water is ICE COLD! They refilled it for me with hot water. But still! Floors were FILTHY! During my pedi they soaked off my gel mani. I assumed she would file the old gel off later but she filed it off right over my legs!! Ewwwww! Had to move to the table for the mani which still has someone's nail dust on it!! Thankfully, she put down a towel or I would have had to put my hands in that! Their phone was covered in nail dust and was sitting at the station I was at.
Loud TV blaring "Judge Judy". Worker on her phone and also talking loudly to another client.
The kicker? The price they tried to charge me when I left was $20 MORE than she told me the two prior times I ASKED HER!! I told her I wasn't paying that as that is not what we discussed and she said, "yes it was, remember?" I told her I do not remember and I'm not paying that. They got it down to $8 more than we discussed. I said fine, whatever, that is coming out of their tip.
Just a nasty place with a 'bait and switch' effect. Wish I would have read the reviews or I would NEVER have come here!
