| - We took our Shepard in for a complete grooming at 10:00 AM. Regardless of the size of dog or not, but it took them 3.5 hours to groom him. This was WITH an appointment. However, that's not even the main issue here. The grooming was on a Saturday, the next day Sunday I noticed our dog to be walking around very sluggish. By Monday he had worsened as far as his health. Tuesday morning we took him into the Vets as she found he had a laceration's on his back, so the Vet felt that he might have been hurt during his grooming. On Friday I took him back to the Vets office because he had numerous bumps on his entire back, shoulders, and sides. After running bacterial test they found that either the shampoo or treatment they used caused him to breakout with these bumps. We have attempted to contact the owner (who is NEVER avaiable), left several messages for him to call us back, and he's COMPLETELY ignored our calls and has yet to return any of our calls. As a business owner myself, I would NEVER neglect to return one of my clients phone calls. As our clients are what keep our rent paid and our lights on!!
Lack of responsibility and carelessness of the workers is uncalled for. Especially after I specifically directed for them NOT to put him inside of a kennel, and they did. They were suppose to call us just before they were to finish with him so that I could pick him up right away and avoid any kennel time. But they ignored my request. $200.00 in Vet costs and a sick dog due to what could be a unsanitary facility, with incompetent workers is uncalled for!!
