| - Amazing dessert spot if you happen to be uptown!
Croissants: possibly best I've had in the city. So delicious I just get the plain ones -- flaky, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. No need for chocolate/cheese/almond etc. because it is just so good on its own (though, they also have those varieties if you want).
Macarons: tons of flavours and you pay by weight. It works out to just over a dollar each, which is actually less than a lot of other places (Nadege, Loblaws, Petite Thuet). I tried vanilla, mocha, jasmine, green tea -- all were flavourful and fresh (sometimes, if they aren't fresh they get dense/chewy instead of light and creamy with the crisp outer layer).
Cakes: small but beautiful. I had the lemon meringue a while ago at a party and remember it being decadent and rich, but not overly sweet.
Pretty much everything here is very well-done with attention to quality and presentation. Definitely worth trying!
