I've been dealing with this office for years, and today is the last time.
The front desk receptionist is ALWAYS rude and I haven't paid much attention before, but today she was exceptionally rude.
I tried to sign paperwork as power of attorney for my father (I always bring a copy with me), but the receptionist yelled at me and said the paperwork had to be exactly as on his IDs. Well guess what, my dad's writing looks nothing like it did before - his hands shake constantly and he is uncomfortable writing. She could have calmly explained the paperwork to me instead of yelling and being rude. I had him sign the paperwork and didn't even get an acknowledgement from the receptionist when I was finished.
She also quietly called for another patient who was waiting, and he didn't hear her until the second time she called his name, then she started YELLING his name as though she was getting more impatient. LabCorp seriously needs to replace this woman, she is a horrible representative for their company.
I was a receptionist for many years and NEVER spoke to or treated people the way this woman has. I've noticed this office is less busy than it has been in years past. There's a good reason for that.
After being treated this way today, I will never return to LabCorp. If my insurance or my parents' insurance doesn't cover SonoraQuest, I'll happily pay the cash prices there to never have to deal with this crap again.
