| - Its dim sum tonight at Orchids. Another night of eating with family and friends. Group of 14, luckily it wasn't a busy night. They sat us right away putting two round tables together. We ask for a round of water and hot tea. Then here comes the cart. This place serves dim sum all day which I thought was very interesting but at least when i crave for dim sum in odd hours i know where to go. We started with an array of foods...like their chow mein x4, shrimp dumplings, shu mai x4, beef tendons x2, lup cheong in steam buns x5, Chinese brocolli x3, fried chives, fried shrimp balls, chicken feet, seafood bean curd, shrimp fried rice x2, fried taro, roast duck, calamari x2, mango pudding, rice cakes x3 and so on. I can honestly say by far it is way better than Dim sum cafe in hualapai. The staff was nice and attentive, and no pressure in ordering foods. The food was flavorful and not bland.
Most definitely we will be back here. I deducted a star because I'm still on a mission who has the best dim sum in Vegas. So far, this is on the top of my list. Happy eats!
