  • Dined at Dominick's last night, and unfortunately, was less than impressed. I was really looking forward to checking this place out, as I am new to the area. I compare this to the likes of Del Frisco's, Morton's, etc. We had a reservation and were seated directly behind the "band." It was so loud and we felt like we had one foot in the lobby! We asked to move and were seated in the wine room behind the bar. Much better, but still, the "band" was way too loud. Let me address the "band." This was one woman singing, and a man playing tracks from his computer. It was rough. The combination of song choice and her vocals was awful. It was impossible to ignore and really put a damper on the night. The food was ok. In my opinion, way over priced. I am a frequent diner at upscale steak restaurants due to my job. Dominick's was nothing special but was a little but pricier than local competitors. I do not think we will be returning. We would rather hit Ocean Club, Eddie V's, or Morton's for sure. Such a shame, as the location and service were fantastic.
