I bought a 90 minute massage deal on groupon for a couples massage and I wish I could get my money back ($150). We arrived to the house and the two "therapists" - I do not think they are even licensed or went to school- barely greeted us as they were sweeping hair and dust in the waiting area. They didn't confirm with us which service we were getting (I was getting a massage and Jacuzzi but called yesterday to switch it to a massage and facial) and just walked us into the private room. Normally a massage therapist will talk with you about what areas you are having issues with on your body and these two just told us to lie down on the hard massage bed. It was barely padded. It was like they had taken a piece of plywood and put foam padding around it themselves.
When they gave us a massage, all they asked for was if the pressure was ok and when both of us told them to do a deep tissue/deep pressure, they didn't listen. The woman who administered my massage had the technique of a stranger you would ask walking down the street if they could give you a quick massage.
Towards the end of the massage, they started turning on the jacuzzi. When I turned over, I told them that we were supposed to get a facial and she basically said that I needed to clarify before my session, implying that it was my fault. I told her that I had on the phone and she said she was never informed about it and it would take too long to set up the facial room. So we had to do the jacuzzi, which was way too hot just like another one of the reviews stated.
You would think that if you are paying a high price you would get way better customer service. This whole business seems very shady anyways as if it's a front for something else. There is no way the massage therapists have had technical training or education.
