Service: Subpar. Barely could get our waiters attention, yes I understand when you are busy it is hard to pay attention to ALL of your customers, but waiting for a drink for 25 minutes is a bit of a stretch. Service was one of the main downfalls of the visit.
Atmosphere: Ambiance of the place is great, lively, separated for intimacy, but a bit dirty. The window sills hadn't been cleaned in a while and there were dead bugs on it (which was right next to our table where our food was placed). The whole place looked like it needed a little TLC. I think a remodel in the near future would help, so all the table are a bit larger, even as a party of 2 our table was quite crammed. Maybe some colors on the walls?
Food: Brilliant. Not a single thing wrong with the meal, I had the marlin and it was superb. My boyfriend had a steak with the snow crab. Best crab either of us has tasted in the Midwest. They oysters were fresh and our waiter did a great job answering questions about what was fresh and what we would experience in difference for farmed vs. wild oysters.
We will be stopping by at least once more to see if the service and cleanliness will be improved on. Looking forward to updating my review after our next experience.
