  • Compared to the other Y's around this one deserves exactly 1 star. I play basketball a lot at this Y. How is it the same person who has been in multiple fights(not arguments, literal fistfights) is allowed to continue to come back and disrupt the safety of others without being banned. I was banned once for a year for telling another member (in a mean manner) to leave my kid the hell alone. My daughter who was 4 at the time was in the gym w me eating some snacks (she doesn't like the play area because she says it's dirty and smells) and the lady came up and snatched the juice box from her and told her there was no food or drinks in the gym. She wasn't staff, she was a member so I told her off and got banned. The administrator, Paul, is the epitome of a corporate stooge, who will only speak the company line, and has zero ability to hold a conversation other than the passing pleasantries. I like the dowd y and the west cabbarus y, the "keith" ymca is for old folks and jellyfish who like to overpay for ppl to drill rules on them. I'll never go back
