We came on one of their local nights, tickets were only $7.77. It's a lot easier if you purchase them online so you don't have to wait in the long ticket lines. I understand why they bag searches but, this was more intense than tsa or even Disneyland! The employees doing the searches are somewhat rude too. Not to my family but a family in front of us.
I took my daughter to the kids area. The is a lifeguard standing by the bigger slide there. He wasn't really stopping kids from waiting for the person sliding to get off. Two kids tried to push my daughter out of the way right before us sliding down. The kid working there didn't do anything.
The lazy river was closed off due to someone dropping a deuce in the water. My friend had gotten a raft from there no problem to take to the lazy river. I went to ask for one with my daughter and this girl lifeguard told me no. And after that, she let 10 other families take the rafts. So I was left wondering why I was told no specifically.
So we went to the lazy river. They don't make anyone put the unused rafts back. So it's a chance game to find one. There's not a lot of entrances in or out either.
We got churros at the snack bar along with a milkshake and a dole whip. All were good.
Before we left for the night I took my daughter to change in the bathroom while my son watched our things. When my husband and I got back, this lady had security & Henderson police there. She left her bag unattended and someone had stolen it. She had no problem accusing the family next to her and us. I got annoyed because A. You shouldn't leave your things unattended. B. It's no one else's fault for your items C. They have lockers that you can put your things in- which is what we did.
Other than those things we did enjoy our day. It definitely doesn't compare to the original wetnwild here, but it is a nice way to spend time with the family.
