  • We probably make it here two to three times a year. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate our larger party if our family decides to go there last minute without reservation. Overall, the food is OK, nothing really has ever been mind blowing and nothing has ever been a fail. We like to come here because the restaurant is spacious with a laid back island feel and atmosphere. Service has never been an issue either and we have sat in all areas including the main dining area, the bar area, and in the indoor patio area. The firecracker shrimp street tacos, the Jamaican chicken wings, and the ahi tuna stack are pretty decent starters. The whole wing is served as the appetizer so be ready to share. For entrees, the paella and the steak oscar have been satisfactory. But the last few visits I have ordered something from the fresh fish menu. Our last visit was on a Saturday night and we sat in the indoor patio area. They had a gentleman playing live music for our entire stay. The music did not drown out our conversation, but you should request another seat if you would like a more peaceful environment. For drinks, we had the Yaka Hula Hickey Dula and the Painkiller. Both cocktails were strong but nice mixes with kick from the rum. They were too strong for my wife, so that meant two dinner cocktails for me. I had the sauteed tilapia with chimichurri sauce as my entree. My wife had a turkey burger. My fish was cooked perfectly, moist and flaky with the chimichurri being a nice accompaniment. For dessert, the chocolate pineapple upside down cake was enjoyed by both of us. As long as Bahama Breeze continues to be consistent, we will keep coming back.
