| - I had the pleasure of dining here two weeks ago and was completely blown away by the food, service, and ambiance. Jennifer was our server and had a extensive knowledge of the menu, while making everything sound delicious. I stopped eating red meat last year, but made an exception for their NY cut wagyu. It. Was. Life changing.
For appetizers we had the crab and shrimp cocktail and the maple glazed pork belly. Both were savory but light enough for us not to feel stuffed. Along with the steak we ordered the Brussel sprouts and had the chance to try to mac & cheese which were both fantastic. I have a hard time finding sprouts that aren't either fried to a crisp or soggy, but these were perfect. I'm always wanting to order to own main course, but with the two appetizers, the bread service, the drinks, and the two side dishes, one steak was perfect for us to share. Of course there was room for dessert.
For dessert we had the cookie dough baked Alaska, AND the banana cream pie. Both were so good but again, not too rich or sweet to the point where they were inedible like other restaurants tend to do.
I'm so happy that we chose to celebrate an early Valentine's Day here, and can't wait to dine here again.
