  • Walked into Cluny at 10:30pm for a bite after theater. The restaurant was not very busy but there still seem to be a good complement of staff. That said it took over 15 minutes for the server to come to my table. (I was beginning to feel invisible). She was lovely/friendly when she did come over. I ordered the seared fois gras and cannot recommend it. The fois gras was tasteless. It was sitting on a piece of thick french toast that was drenched in blackcurrant/cassis sauce. It looked unappealing and the combination of all of these ingredients did not complement each other. I am not dismissing this restaurant entirely and might try it again but this was not a good start.
